Why We Exist
We exist because we want to change the way Africa trades. With such a huge portion of Africa trading in the informal market, it’s time take control of this massive opportunity to develop and formalise the informal market. We design, develop and manufacture products to enhance the vendor’s life, enhance your brand and most importantly increase your sales volumes.
What We Do
Founded in 1992, Resource Marketing has pioneered the use of plastic rotational-moulding technology to manufacture durable, high quality ice coolers and mobile vending carts for FMCG brands. These items are used in Africa’s large informal markets and we are the developers of several original registered concepts and design solutions.
How can we be of
service to you?
We have manufacturing facilities in Africa and Asia and have supplied to 40 countries in Africa alone. We can suggest one of our readymade products or let us gain an understanding of your unique market objective and conditions so that we can design and manufacture the perfect solution for you.

Can you really afford to ignore the mass market? All focus is on Africa, as large businesses realise that the underlying potential to unlock this market is far greater than any existing formal market. The informal sector is the next big frontier where real gains are to be made.

Reaching Further, Finding Value in the Last Mile
Supply chains in Africa are complex, challenging and expensive. The dominance of informal trade, poor transport infrastructure, inadequate local supply chain and large rural population are some of the hurdles facinging distribution. BUT... with up to 90% of sales in some countries moving through informal channels, can brands not afford to reach further?
"Whoever can manage supply chain in African wins." - Richard Brasher, CEO of South African retailer Pick n Pay. (so much in store - PWC)
From Depot to Street Site: How Brands Are Going Further
Competitive advantage for brands wanting to succeed in the informal street vending sector lies in their willingness to reach vendors deep within the market with site-relevant support, helping to control the type of consumers that interact with the product.
